Product detailed description

100% Torrontes. Vineyard location: Barrancas Maipu, Mendoza. Alcohol: 13.5%. Tasting notes: light golden yellow in colour. Expressive and intense on the nose, with floral and citrus notes of white peach, citrus blossom, lemon zest, and tropical fruit, tied together with subtle herbal and floral undertones. On the palate, it’s light to medium-bodied and delightfully fresh: juicy stone-fruit and citrus flavours, clean texture, and a dry, crisp finish that keeps things lively. Pairing: spicy dishes, Thai and Indian cuisine, ceviche, salads, grilled white fis hor sipping well-chilled on its own.

Don Aparo is a wine label produced by the Argentine winery Bodegas y Viñedos Pascual Toso, one of the oldest and most respected wineries in Mendoza, Argentina. The Don Aparo range is aimed at international markets and focuses on approachable, fruit-forward wines.

The brand is named after Don Aparo, a longtime vineyard manager at Pascual Toso. According to the winery's story:

  • He rode his bicycle about 14 km every day to tend the vineyards.
  • Every evening he made a final round through the vines carrying a lantern, ensuring everything was in order.
  • His dedication became a symbol of the winery's tradition, care, and craftsmanship, which inspired the brand identity and label artwork.
