Pascual Toso

Since 1890, Bodegas y Viñedos Pascual Toso has remained faithful to its principles: History, Authenticity, and Innovation.
Pascual Toso was born on October 24, 1859, into a family in Canale D’Alba, a small town in Italy. From his parents, he learned the skills and knowledge of agriculture and viticulture. Upon arriving in Argentina, he settled in Mendoza. Having been closely involved in the development of wine production with his family in Piedmont, he immediately recognized the region’s promising future for winemaking and decided to apply all his expertise to this endeavor.
Thus, in 1890, Pascual Toso established his first winery in San José, Guaymallén, and at the beginning of the 20th century, he decided to expand his business by acquiring new vineyards in Maipú. On his estate, he built another winery, “Las Barrancas” (“The Small Canyon”), dedicated to the production and cultivation of the finest grapes.
Today, "Pascual Toso" continues to produce high-quality wines following the most demanding procedures and standards. In 2007, it received the Trophy for Best Argentine Producer at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London, reflecting the winery’s commitment to expertise and tradition. This dedication has earned the winery a truly prestigious reputation, both in the domestic market and around the world.
