Oromate comes from the relatively small El Agricultor plantation in the Guairá region, located in the heart of eastern Paraguay. It is one of the richest and most fertile areas of Paraguay. The plantation was founded by Pablo and Jorge Escher. Initially, the plantation produced the brand Yerba Mate Reina, which later transformed into Oromate. Oromate Molienda Mediana is a classic Paraguayan yerba with a traditional character. The cut, smokiness, high powder content, finely ground leaves, and the resulting flavor—everything corresponds to what you would expect from traditional Paraguayan maté. The aroma is classic for this type of yerba, smoky and woody with mild smoky undertones in the background. The flavor is intense, acidic, with a smoky aftertaste and notes of hay and wood.
