Selecta proviene da Bella Vista nella provincia di Itapúa ed è considerata una delle migliori marche paraguaiane. La yerba viene essiccata utilizzando il metodo tradizionale barbacuá, che conferisce al maté un piacevole aroma affumicato. Il taglio è più grossolano con un contenuto maggiore di rametti. Il maté ha un sapore molto intenso ed è arricchito con katuava e burrito. In combinazione con burrito, aiuta anche a gestire lo stress mentale. La Katuaba è un afrodisiaco delicato. Burrito (Wendita calysinum) ha un eccellente effetto sul sistema digestivo e sul metabolismo generale.
