Product detailed description
This very handsome green tea comes from one of the northernmost tea-growing regions in the world, from the village of Nagomari in the Guria province of Georgia. The subtropical climate of western Georgia is perfect for cultivating very high-quality tea. The gentle slopes of the Etseri Estate are characterized by cold winters and consistently cool nights throughout the year. Although low temperatures can limit the size of the harvest, they also help control pests, allowing tea to be grown without the need for chemicals. Thanks to the significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, the tea buds are resilient, rich in active compounds, and highly aromatic. The tea grows more slowly than in warmer tea regions, which defines its distinctive and delicious flavor.
