This Genmaicha is crafted in the traditional way preferred by the farmers themselves at the organic tea farm in Uji, where it originates. Taking into account the weather throughout the year and shortly before harvest, the farmers adjust the duration of shading before sunlight exposure and the steaming time used to halt oxidation.
