Product detailed description
This Dragon Well (Long Jing) tea was harvested from a high-mountain organic tea garden in Lin’an, Hangzhou, situated at an altitude of 800 meters. The tea bushes were grown from seed in the 1990s using the Jiu Keng Qun Ti Zhong variety. By contrast, the more common Long Jing #43 cultivar is typically propagated through cuttings. The garden has been certified organic since 2005. The tea benefits from its high-altitude location, ecological farming practices, and the rich genetic diversity preserved through seed propagation. It was traditionally processed by pan-firing in a wok. The taste profile features roasted bean and orchid notes, offering a delicately sweet yet remarkably intense flavor.
