Product detailed description
This Dragon Well tea was harvested from a high-altitude organic tea garden in Linan, Hangzhou. The tea garden is located at 800 meters above sea level. The tea bushes grew from seeds of the Jiu Keng Qun Ti Zong variety planted in the 1990s. Another widely spread cultivar, Long Jing 43, is propagated by cuttings. The garden has held organic certification since 2005. The tea’s excellent quality is due to its high mountain location, ecological farming, and the rich genetics of quality seeds. The tea was traditionally processed by pan-firing in a wok. Its flavor reveals notes of roasted beans and orchids. The taste is subtly sweet yet very intense.
