Product detailed description
This cultivar was introduced in 1981 and classified as Tai Cha #13 (T-13). In recent years, however, it has become increasingly rare in Taiwan, as local farmers tend to favor Si Ji Chun and Jin Xuan, which require less labor. Finding well-grown Cui Yu today—crafted by a grower who truly understands its character and works with it rather than against it—is quite uncommon. But such dedication is rewarded with a deeply satisfying cup, offering an unexpectedly floral profile, rich layered complexity, and a lovely buttery aroma. And to crown it all: delicate notes of lily of the valley that lift the scent from the cup like a gentle aromatherapy session.Additional parameters
