Product detailed description
The Chinese version of the Taiwanese Oolong Si Ji Chun originates from the area around Zhangzhou in Fujian Province. No surprise there—after all, Taiwan is just across the strait. The factory is owned by a Taiwanese company and staffed by Taiwanese workers. The machines are made in China, but that’s also the case for many factories in Taiwan. Only the tea leaves come from Fujian, not from Taiwan; however, the Si Ji Chun cultivar was originally introduced from China to Taiwan, not the other way around. When processed in the same way, the resulting teas are indistinguishable. Debating whether it's a Chinese or Taiwanese tea is really just playing with words. Both versions are excellent—and offered at a great price!Additional parameters
