The story of As de Bastos begins in 1983, when the Lorenzo family embarked on their journey into the world of yerba mate. José Luis Lorenzo and his wife, along with their children, opened a small yerba mate factory as agricultural producers.

In 1995, a significant step was taken with the acquisition of the " Ace of Bastos " brand, a symbol of quality and authenticity. This strategic move strengthened the company's identity in the market.

Since 2015, As de Bastos has expanded its reach with the distribution of packaged yerba mate “As de Bastos” in the province of Misiones.

In 2018, packaging under this brand officially began, consolidating its presence in the national market.

The year 2020 marked exponential growth for As de Bastos, consolidating its position as Grupo Forteza SRL. This transformation strengthens the company's position both nationally and internationally .
