Barao De Cotegipe Tradicional is a Brazilian yerba. This yerba is not grown on managed plantations but is harvested from trees that grow freely in the forests. It consists of very fine leaves and stems. The infusion has an intense green color and a strong herbal aroma, but a rather mild taste. It is recommended for advanced mate drinkers due to its specific preparation method, known as chimarrao.
