Assam Latumoni Springtime Miracle is a handcrafted black tea from Latumoni, a tiny, family-run estate nestled in Tingkhong, Upper Assam. Meticulously produced in small batches, it yields large, handsome leaves and a rich yet refined liquor.
The dry leaves are dark, with 15–20% golden buds, and brew into a deep amber infusion with a malty aroma reminiscent of classic Assam. On the palate, it offers a subtle dance of mineral, dry floral, and lightly woody notes. The finish is tart and mineral-driven, with hints of tobacco and pleasant tannins.
This tea captures the essence of Assam tradition while steering clear of the harsher tannic grip found in mass-produced teas. Thanks to its early harvest, the flavor is smoother, softer, and delightfully complex.
