This Oolong is a unique aged tea from Taiwan. It is a blend of leaves from various cultivars, expertly matured by an experienced tea master. The tea was harvested in 1997. Since aging tea is a true mastery that requires not only skill but also specific climatic conditions, we regularly receive only small quantities in our Prague warehouse. This is very similar to what we do with our Pu-erh teas stored and aged in Hong Kong. The dry leaves are tightly rolled and dark in appearance, a result of long-term aging and repeated roasting. The taste is delicate and refined. Although the tea has been roasted multiple times, it does not have a strongly roasted flavor. Instead, it offers a generally fruity impression, with clearly recognizable woody and slightly earthy notes. Its profile is highly complex, with a particularly intriguing texture.
