Questo yerba maté tostato del marchio brasiliano Yacuy, conosciuto come Chá Mate Tostado, offre un'esperienza nettamente diversa rispetto al tradizionale maté verde. Le foglie di Ilex paraguariensis sono tostate fino a ottenere una tonalita scura, conferendo loro un ricco aroma che ricorda il cioccolato, i cereali tostati o il caffe di cereali. Il sapore e piu delicato, meno amaro, con note speziate. Ideale per infusioni calde, tereré freddo, o anche come base per il “mate de leche” – una bevanda cremosa preparata con latte vaccino o vegetale.
