Selecta Tradicional e considerata una delle migliori yerba mate paraguayane. Vengono utilizzati solo i migliori steli e foglie, che sono i piu aromatici e ricchi di vitamine e minerali. Presenta un sapore e un aroma intensi, con un ricco mix di tonalita verdi e marroni. Aprendo il pacchetto, noterai una solida quantita di polvere. Le foglie sono tagliate piu corte rispetto a molte altre marche, poiché i paraguayani preferiscono preparare la loro yerba nello stile "tereré" (freddo). The history of Selecta began around the year 1942, when Mr. Reinaldo Brönstrup and his wife Mrs. Malvina Bohn, both immigrants, dedicated themselves to the first yerba mate plantations in the area; they decided to start the production of Yerba Mate, a few years later a mill was built and from the year 1950 they dedicated themselves to the integral production of Yerba Mate from the nurseries, cultivation, harvesting, processing and packaging of the final product, which went on the market with the name of Yerba Mate Selecta. More than 70 years have passed since the "Selecta" brand came onto the market, the greatest legacy left by the past generation is the culture of work, faith in God and love for the family as well as the values of excellence, teamwork, honesty and respect that drive to continue with the objective of "Producing Quality".
