Selecta Tradicional je považována za jednu z nejlepších paraguayských yerba maté. Používají se pouze ty nejkvalitnější stonky a listy, které jsou nejvíce aromatické a bohaté na vitamíny a minerály. Vyznačuje se intenzivní chutí a vůní, s bohatou směsí zelenkavých až hnědavých tónů. Po otevření balení si všimnete solidního množství prášku. Listy jsou řezány kratší než u mnoha jiných značek, protože Paraguayci dávají přednost přípravě své yerby ve stylu „tereré“ (studené). The history of Selecta began around the year 1942, when Mr. Reinaldo Brönstrup and his wife Mrs. Malvina Bohn, both immigrants, dedicated themselves to the first yerba mate plantations in the area; they decided to start the production of Yerba Mate, a few years later a mill was built and from the year 1950 they dedicated themselves to the integral production of Yerba Mate from the nurseries, cultivation, harvesting, processing and packaging of the final product, which went on the market with the name of Yerba Mate Selecta. More than 70 years have passed since the "Selecta" brand came onto the market, the greatest legacy left by the past generation is the culture of work, faith in God and love for the family as well as the values of excellence, teamwork, honesty and respect that drive to continue with the objective of "Producing Quality".
