Questa yerba e appositamente destinata alla preparazione di bevande fredde (tereré). Il te e composto da foglie macinate piu grossolanamente, e l'erba viene raccolta da arbusti selvatici, che vengono raccolti una volta ogni 12 mesi. E una bevanda rinfrescante e rinvigorente. PIPORÉ Nella lingua guaraní, "PI" significa piede, "PO" significa mani, e "RE" significa passi. La parola Piporé e stata creata da questi. Secondo la leggenda, il capo Santos ha premuto le sue mani e piedi nella terra lungo la riva del fiume, lasciando un segno indelebile. I gesuiti lo battezzarono come Santo Pipó.
