Verdelandia Premium Moida Grossa je chimarrao s velmi hrubým řezem a jasně zelenou barvou. Aroma suchého maté je travnaté, s tóny kopřivy a zeleniny (dokonce i pepře). První nálevy jsou velmi silné, poměrně hořké, opět s výraznou chutí kopřivy, zatímco pozdější nálevy se mění na krémovou texturu. Chimarrao se výrazně liší barvou, texturou a chutí od argentinského, paraguayského nebo uruguayského yerba a připomíná Matcha zelený čaj—prášek z jemně nasekaných listů s malým množstvím stonků. Obvykle je vakuově baleno během prvního týdne po sklizni, aby se udržela vyšší úroveň chlorofylu, což mu dává jasnou neonově zelenou barvu. Verdelandia je tradiční rodinná společnost založená v roce 1985. Jako jedna z prvních ve státě Paraná začala s vakuovým balením, což pomáhá udržet maté čerstvé mnohem déle. More flavors arrived in the factory at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The company started the production of Mate herb for terere drinks. The success of our terere drinks consists of the mix of the green Mate herb and the flavor of mint, peppermint, lemon, pineapple, and others.
Verdelandia Mate Herb industry consists of four lines of production: three for the processing of Mate for chimarrão and one for terere. It produces over a million kilos of Mate herb per month and it is available throughout the country.
