Verdelandia Nativa Premium je tradiční chimarrao s hrubším řezem a jasně zelenou barvou. Aroma suchého maté je travnaté, s tóny kopřivy a zeleniny (dokonce i pepřovými). První nálevy jsou velmi intenzivní, poměrně hořké, opět s výrazným podtónem kopřivy. V pozdějších nálevech se chuť mění na krémovou. Chimarrao se výrazně liší barvou, texturou a chutí od argentinského, paraguayského nebo uruguayského yerba a více připomíná Matcha zelený čaj – s práškem z jemně nasekaných listů a malým množstvím stonků. Obvykle je vakuově balen během prvního týdne po sklizni, což udržuje vyšší úroveň chlorofylu a dodává mu jasnou neonově zelenou barvu. Verdelandia je tradiční rodinný podnik založený v roce 1985. Byla jednou z prvních v státě Paraná, která začala s vakuovým balením, což udržuje maté čerstvé mnohem déle. Kromě tradičního chimarrao se v posledních letech také zaměřila na výrobu tereré. Společnost dodržuje udržitelný přístup, intenzivně investuje do zalesňování a výsadby nových cesmíny, z nichž se sklízí surovina pro výrobu maté, jakmile dozrají (takové maté je poté označeno jako Nativa). More flavors arrived in the factory at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The company started the production of Mate herb for terere drinks. The success of our terere drinks consists of the mix of the green Mate herb and the flavor of mint, peppermint, lemon, pineapple, and others.
Verdelandia Mate Herb industry consists of four lines of production: three for the processing of Mate for chimarrão and one for terere. It produces over a million kilos of Mate herb per month and it is available throughout the country.
