Selecta Siempre ist ein Mate mit der Zugabe von Kräutern, geeignet für Verdauungsprobleme oder nach einem schweren Sonntagsessen. Zutaten: Yerba Mate, Dill, Kamille, Boldo (Peumus boldus), Gomphrena (Gomphrena perennis), Anis. Dill fördert die Verdauung und hilft bei Blähungen und wirkt zudem harntreibend. Kamille hilft neben ihren beruhigenden Eigenschaften auch bei einem schweren Magengefühl. Boldo (Peumus boldus), das besonders in der traditionellen Medizin verwendet wird, ist sehr nützlich zur Behandlung von Verstopfung und Koliken. Gomphrena (Gomphrena perennis) wird bei Rachenentzündungen eingesetzt und hat entzündungshemmende Wirkungen. Der traditionelle Name Siempre vive bedeutet „ewiges Leben“. Anis unterstützt allgemein das Verdauungssystem und hat beruhigende Wirkungen. Selecta Yerba Mate gilt als einer der besten paraguayischen Mates. Bei der Produktion werden nur die besten Teile verwendet – die Stängel und Blätter der Yerba Mate, die am aromatischsten sind und einen hohen Gehalt an Vitaminen und Mineralien aufweisen. Es zeichnet sich durch einen sehr intensiven Geschmack und ein intensives Aroma aus. Der Aufguss ist stark, dunkel und hat einen sogar rauchigeren Geschmack als Pajarito. The history of Selecta began around the year 1942, when Mr. Reinaldo Brönstrup and his wife Mrs. Malvina Bohn, both immigrants, dedicated themselves to the first yerba mate plantations in the area; they decided to start the production of Yerba Mate, a few years later a mill was built and from the year 1950 they dedicated themselves to the integral production of Yerba Mate from the nurseries, cultivation, harvesting, processing and packaging of the final product, which went on the market with the name of Yerba Mate Selecta. More than 70 years have passed since the "Selecta" brand came onto the market, the greatest legacy left by the past generation is the culture of work, faith in God and love for the family as well as the values of excellence, teamwork, honesty and respect that drive to continue with the objective of "Producing Quality".
