In flavor, sweet bread-like notes dominate, with a grassy hint and a more pronounced astringency, which is especially noticeable in the aftertaste. Canarias consists solely of leaves and is a 100% product without preservatives or chemicals. The yerba maté leaves used to make this product come from the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.
