Cedrón (Aloysia triphylla) es una hierba medicinal tradicional de Sudamérica, utilizada para tratar diversas dolencias. Afecta positivamente la armonización del sistema nervioso, migrañas, depresión y memoria. Se usa alternativamente para tratar problemas ginecológicos y menstruales femeninos. Contribuye a la mejora de las funciones pulmonares, estomacales y digestivas, y también ayuda a limitar la propagación de virus de la gripe, tratando la tos y enfermedades broncopulmonares, incluyendo el asma. Es un "estimulante de vida" tradicional y armonioso. Debido a su aroma a limón, se utiliza como aromatizante de alimentos.
